Caps & Gowns were distributed to seniors on 2/26. Apollo seniors will receive theirs during lunch on 3/21 at Apollo during their lunch

Bluffton Public Library Program: Students who are interested in the world of Rubik’s Cube, speed-cubing, and World Club Association competition are invited to learn about Cubing with Braden Richards: (R) Mon., March 11 @ 6:00 p.m at the Bluffton Public Library.    Join Findlay native Braden Richards as he shares his story with the Rubik’s Cube, his career in the WCA and clues to help you become a better cuber. This is a family-friendly program intended for ages 8+.  Please register by March 9.

College Visits: Sophomores and Juniors interested in taking a field trip to visit either BGSU on 3/14 (lunch provided); ONU on 3/28 (lunch provided) or The University of Findlay on 4/10 (will eat lunch out after) need to sign up on the google form that was emailed to them on 2/7 from Dr. Smith. Grade level, grade-point average and school attendance will be considered for approval for attendance on this trip. 

Senior Field Trip: Weds 3/20 Homeownership Seminar at Lima Civic Center 9:00-2:00

Spanish Trip 2025: There will be informational meeting for current Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors on Tues 3/19 at 6:30 in the HS cafeteria to discuss the 2025 Spanish Trip to Spain. Click on the following link for more information: 

Music Booster Chicken BBQ/Concert: Friday 3/22. Students will be performing from 3:50-9:00 in the Middle School gymnasium. Click on the following link for the schedule: The meal options include a BBQ Chicken meal or a vegetarian option of Double Mac n Cheese and can be picked up between 4:30-6:30 in the MS cafetorium. You can purchase your meal tickets in the Middle school office or online at The cost is $10. 

Allen County College Fair: Tuesday, 3/26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Apollo Career Center. 20+ college reps will be there from around Ohio. Contact Brad Clark 419-222-1836 ext #109 if you have any questions. 

Easter Break: Friday 3/29 thru Monday 4/1 school will be closed. 

Total Eclipse 4/8/24: School will be closed on Monday, April 8th.

State Test Dates: 4/16 & 17: ELA1 EOC; 4/23 & 4/24 Algebra & Geometry EOC; 4/30 American History & Government EOC; 5/2 Biology. Please try NOT to schedule any appointments or vacation days during these dates.

.Mon 3/4:

  • The Academic Letter Ceremony will be held at 6:30 this evening at the Middle School Cafetorium. Cookies and punch will be served. Students who qualify to receive an award were sent a letter and an email in February. 

Tues 3/5:

  • Lunch: Soft taco w/ beef, black beans, chips & salsa, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Chicken Taquitos
  • Students that were unable to attend the Academic Letter banquet last evening need to stop down to the office and pick up their Academic Bar or letter. 
  • Art Club: There will be an Art Club meeting after school today in the art room.

Weds 3/6: 

  • Lunch: French toast sticks, sausage links, tator tots, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Fiestada

Thurs 3/7:

  • Lunch:  Macaroni & cheese, pulled pork slider, peas, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Flipside pizza

Fri 3/8:

  • Lunch: Cheese pizza, romaine salad, Cheez its, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Waffle fries
  • Academic Team: The Academic Team will compete at the Bath Invitational on Monday, March 11th.
