State Track Meet: Division III teams will run on Friday 6/2 starting at 9:30 a.m. (semifinals) and Field Event preliminaries/finals at 1:00. On Saturday 6/3,  running finals will start at 9:30 a.m. Tickets must be purchased online through ohsaa.org/tickets. Good luck to Bri Taber, Erik Nygaard, Eden Antrim, Landon Armstrong, Landon Shutler, Sam Derstine, Justin Good and alternates: Landon Novak, Carson Kruse & Nolan Hoffman. 

Required Immunizations for 2023-24 school year: Students going into the 7th & 12th grade next school year are required to receive the meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine for entry. This is a two dose requirement but all seniors should have received their first dose going into their 7th grade year. This will be the seniors 2nd dose. The Allen County Health Department will be doing an onsite clinic at Bluffton Schools on August 9, 2023 from 9:00-11:00. A letter and a form will be mailed out to parents in June. You can take your child to your own physician, a Health Department or attend this clinic to get their vaccination. Proof of them receiving it needs to be dropped off in the HS office or emailed to oberlyj@blufftonschools.org prior to school starting in August. If your child had their 2nd dose already last year and you turned in your proof of the immunization, you can ignore this information. 

Final Forms: Parents must update their information in Final Forms for the 2023-24 school year ASAP. Make sure you are in the 2023-24 school year and NOT the current school year when you do this. Even if nothing changes, you still need to go in and sign the forms. After you complete and sign your documents, have your child log in and complete their information. 

Summer Hours: The school offices will be open from 8:00-3:00 M-F thru the month of June. College Ave and Jackson St doors will be unlocked. During July all offices EXCEPT the superintendent's office are closed. The Superintendent's office is located at the rear of the elementary in the alley off of Vine Street. 

Chicken BBQ Fundraiser: There will be a chicken BBQ meal for Karen Falk on Sunday, 6/25 from 12:30-2:00 at St. Mary's Catholic church (Drive thru service only in their parking lot). Karen is the Home Ec teacher at BHS and is battling B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Tickets can be purchased in the Bluffton High School office, The Dough Hook, Twisted Whisk,  Village Cut & Curl, Ted's Market in Pandora or if you know her children Brianna Atkins or Josh Falk they have some too. The cost is $12 and the meal is 1/2 BBQ Chicken, green beans, au gratin potatoes roll/butter catered by Ted's Market. (No checks)

Open Gyms: JV & Varsity Boys Basketball: Sundays from 7:00-8:30 thru 7/30;  JV & Varsity Girls Basketball: Weds & Thurs 5:00-6:30; Volleyball: Starting in June-Mondays 7:00-8:30 p.m. and Fridays 9:00-10:30 a.m. (stop in office for more detailed calendar); Cross Country: In July Optional Summer training: Mon, Weds & Fri at Village Park 8:00-9:15 a.m. starting 7/5 (stop in office for Varsity training schedule for June); Football open fields Sundays at 4:00; Tennis: Open court for boys and girls 7th-12th grade 4:30-6:30 on Tuesday thru Thurs 6/6-7/20--Contact Coach Allgire 419-979-8810 to sign up. Students must have an updated sports physical. Through Final forms you can download a physical form and print off other pertinent information that needs to go with you to the Doctor when getting the actual physical. 

Grade Cards: Final grade cards can be viewed or printed from your child's Progressbook account starting June 9th. If you would like an honor roll certificate, call the office the week of June 5th. 

Schedule Pick Up/School Pictures: Friday, August 18 & Monday, August 21 from 8:00-12:00 & 1:00-3:00. 

School Year 2023-24: The first day of school next year will be August 28, 2023

New Students: If you would like to enroll a new student, please use the school website and click on Final Forms to enroll your child. You will also need to download your documents that are needed to complete the enrollment process in Final Forms.
