State Test Dates:  4/30 American History a.m. & Government after lunch EOC; 5/2 Biology a.m.. Please try NOT to schedule any appointments or vacation days during these dates.  ALSO, MAKE SURE NOT TO FORGET YOUR CHROMEBOOK AND MAKE SURE IT IS CHARGED!!

Baccalaureate Meeting: The next meeting will be May 1, 2024 at 8:30 p.m. in the Campus Life Room. 

Campus Life After School Program/Tutoring: The Campus Life Building (across from the HS) will be open after school on Tuesdays until 5:00 until the end of the school year. HS students are able to stop over and have a free snack and hang out until 5:00. There will also be tutors (retired teachers) available to help with homework if needed. Additional snacks and beverages can also be purchased. 

Yearbook: To purchase the 2023-24 yearbook, click this link https://shorturl.at/jmBGH . The cost is $65. 

Cheerleading Tryouts: If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading you will need to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday, 4/29 at 6:30 in the HS cafeteria. This is for the student and the parent. You will also need to sign up in the office and pick up an information sheet. Mandatory clinics will be held in the elementary gym on 5/13 6:00-8:00, 5/15 6:00-8:00 & then individual tryouts on 5/16 starting at 4:00

Tues 4/23:

  • Lunch:  Shredded chicken sandwich/Uncrustable, green beans, chips, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Bosco cheese breadstick
  • State Test: Today and again Weds 4/24 Algebra/Integrated Math in a.m. & Geometry after lunch; MAKE SURE TO CHARGE YOUR CHROMEBOOKS TONIGHT!!
  • Cheerleader Tryouts (see above for details). Stop in the office to sign up and pick up an information sheet. 
  • Class Officer/Student Senate: Applications were emailed to you from Mrs. Richards if you would like to run for Class Officer and Student Senate. Completed forms are due by this Friday, 4/26
  • Seniors: If you would like a senior t-shirt or a ticket to go to Cedar Point, see Mrs. Oberly in the office this week. An email was sent out to you last week with information about both activities. $15 for Cedar Point/$18 T-shirt/$33 Sweatshirt. Checks can be made out to BHS. Tshirt money is due today by the end of the day and Cedar Point ticket money is due on 4/29. 
  • Visits: Tues 4/23 Army National Guard; Fri 4/26 Army will be set up in the cafeteria during lunch.

  • Lunch:  Mini corn dogs, baked beans or tossed salad, fruit, Rice Krispie treat & milk ALA-CARTE: Spicy chicken sandwich
  • Sports: Tennis at Ottawa 4:30, Softball vs Arcadia 5:00 (Dismiss Tennis at 3:00)

Thurs 4/25:

  • Lunch: Chicken nuggets, romaine salad, fruit, cookie & milk ALA-CARTE: Fiestada
  • Girls Soccer: There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in playing High School Girls Soccer next Fall on Sunday, April 28th at 1:00 PM in the Old High School Gym. Interested players, and their parents, should attend the meeting to learn about the upcoming Summer and pre-season schedules.
  • Sports: Tennis at Wapak 4:30, Softball/Baseball vs Lincolnview 5:00 (Dismiss tennis at 3:00)

Fri 4/26:

  • Lunch: Pizza, veggies w/dip, fruit, fruit snacks & milk ALA-CARTE: Baked potato
  • Sports: Tennis at Upper Sandusky 4:15, JV Baseball vs Van Buren 5:00 (Dismiss tennis at 2:45)

Sat 4/27:

  • Sports: Track at Liberty Benton  9:00, Baseball vs Arlington 10:00 & 1:00, Softball vs Arlington 11:00 & 1:00

Mon 4/29:

  • Lunch: Hot dog/coney dog, carrots w/ dip, fruit, cookie & milk ALA-CARTE: Waffle fries
  • Seniors: Cedar Point money is due at 8:00 a.m. this morning. Mrs Oberly will be calling in the ticket order this morning. 
  • Charge your Chromebook and remember to bring it to school tomorrow for the American History/Government state test.

  • Sports: Track at Allen East 4:30; Softball vs Elida 5:00; Tennis at Bellefontaine 5:00 (Dismiss tennis players at 2:45)

Thurs 5/2:

  • Lunch: Bbq pork sandwich, macaroni & cheese, peas, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Kira's Flipside pizza
  • Sports: Baseball/Softball vs Columbus Grove 5:00, 

Fri 5/3:

  • Lunch: Mini calzone w/ marinara, romaine salad, fruit, Rice Krispie treat & milk ALA-CARTE: Baked pasta
  • Sports: Softball vs Bath 5:00; JV Baseball vs Miller City 5:00

Sat 5/4: 

  • Sports: Track at Ada 9:00; Baseball  at Arcadia 10:00, Tennis vs Oak Harbor 12:00
