SPRING COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS CLASSES: If you are planning on taking Spring CCP classes, you need to schedule an appointment with Dr Smith immediately in the counselor's office. Meetings will begin October 4th. Spring registration will begin soon at some of the colleges and Dr. Smith needs to talk to you ahead of time.

Game Club:  Tues 10/3 at 3:00 Warren High school, Thurs 10/5 vs Warren High School 4:00; Tues 10/10 vs Findlay High School, Thurs 10/12 at 4:00 vs Worthington High School; Tues 10/17 at 3:00 vs Lima Shawnee, Thurs 10/19 at 4:00 vs Dublin Jerome HS; Tues 10/24 at 3:00 Yellow Springs HS; Thurs 10/26 Lancaster HS;  Tues 10/31 at 3:00 Columbia HS;  Thurs 11/2 @ 4:00 Whitmer HS

Picture Retakes: Thurs 10/12 from 7:45-8:45 in the HS gymnasium. 

Aluminum Can Drop Off will be held on Friday, October 6th from 7:30-8:00 a.m. at the Jackson Street entrance. Place your cans in a garbage bag and drop them off during this time. The school will turn the cans in at the end of the year to Ball Metal and they will make a donation to the high school. There will be several drop offs held during the school year. 

College Visits: Attention Juniors and Seniors: The University of Toledo will be in on Weds 9/27 during 7th period, Ashland University will be in on Thursday 9/28 during 2nd period and Goshen College will be in on Monday, 10/2 during 7th period.  Stop in the guidance office to sign up ahead of time if you would like to attend any of these visits. 

Bowling: Students interested in being on the Bluffton Gator bowling league can stop in the office and pick up an information sheet.  There will be a parent meeting on Sunday, October 1st at 2:00 in the Bluffton Comfort Inn Conference room. Contact Ben Nye with any questions 419-234-8122

Yearbooks: There are a few yearbooks left to sell for the 2022-23 school year. See Mr. Rackley in room #212 if you would like to purchase one. The cost is $65.

Fri 9/29:

  • Lunch: Walking taco with beef, fruit & milk ALA-CARTE: Chicken nuggets
  • Renaissance Field trip: If you would like to go to Suter's Corn Maze, sign up and pay $5 in the office. This is for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors only.  You need to sign up by the end of 3rd period today!!
  • Homecoming Tickets: If you forgot to purchase your homecoming ticket, today is your last chance by the end of 3rd period . NO TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR!
  • Assembly Schedule: Just a reminder we are on an assembly schedule today. If you are a student helper, make sure you are back in time for your next class. 
  • First National Jr. Board of Directors: Any Junior interested in participating in the First National Bank's Junior Board of Directors program needs to see Ms. Lovell for an application.  Applications are due before Monday October 2nd.
  • Homecoming Parade: The Homecoming Parade will start at Snider Road/Swimming Pool at 5:30. If you are riding on a float make sure you are on the float BEFORE you get to Snider Road and be there no later than 5:15. 
  • Sports: Football vs Crestview 7:00. The Homecoming parade will start at 5:30 from Snider Road and the Homecoming crowning will take place at around 6:25. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $5 or online at https://www.blufftonschools.org/athletics/athletics-tickets
  • Free Admission: Just a reminder to students that there is free admission to all home sporting events this week only if you wear your superfan t-shirt or the current days Spirit week outfit to the game.  
  • Pink Out: Allen East will be having a "Pink Out" for Cancer Awareness at their football game against Bluffton on 10/13. If you would like to order a shirt to wear stop in the office and pick up a form or click on the following link for more information: https://pinkout2023.spiritsale.com/

Sat 9/30:

  • Sports: Girls Soccer vs Kalida 10:00; JV Football at Crestview 10:00; XC at Kalida 9:00; Boys Soccer at Riverdale 10:00

Fri 10/6:

  • Lunch: Hot dog/coney dog, fresh veggies w/ dip, fruit, chips, & milk ALA-CARTE: Taco soup
